The Army Training Centre at Gillingham made their second visit to the Apex site at MidKent College. The centre provides Artisan training in construction skills before recruits are assigned to a regiment.
During their visit, Apex Project Manager Chris Watson introduced them to Ian Mitchell at CPC Interiors. CPC conducted an informative talk and walkthrough on the build sequence of drywall. The session covered the different types of drywall required for fire protection, thermal properties, and acoustic resilience. Additionally, they demonstrated the tape and joint process through to the handover to the next trades.
