Our Social Value Lead, Sasha Silk, attended two career fairs in Kent: Rainham School for Girls on Wednesday with Laura Downing, and The Lenham School on Thursday with Grace Poll.
Grace, our Management Trainee, shared:
"I really enjoyed my time at The Lenham School's careers fair, sharing insights into the construction industry and helping to break down some of the stigmas students had—especially among the girls. Growing up, I found my way into the industry through family experience, but I never had the opportunity to hear from external voices about the career possibilities in construction. It felt great to represent Apex and share the amazing opportunities they’ve given me to grow, study, and gain valuable experience. I hope Sasha and I inspired students to see the exciting potential of a career in construction!"
