Creating Social Value in Horley π πΏ We recently contributed to Westvale Primary School by donating materials for a rainwater harvesting system for their Forest School. The project came to life whenChris Armstrong, our Project Manager, struck up a conversation with Anna, the Forest School teacher and realised there was opportunity for Apex to get involved. simon hillingordered the supplies whilstChrisandSasha Silkvolunteered their time to deliver and set up the materials. They spent a day at the school building the system, which was later completed with the help of Arturas and Promise, two labourers fromRandstad UK. Anna is thrilled with the outcome. The new system allows the children to water the plants and flowers in their forest garden classes more efficiently. It saves them from making numerous trips back and forth to the school and uses recycled rainwater, promoting and teaching an environmentally friendly approach. A big thank you toChris,Sasha, simon, Arturas, and Promise for their effort in making this project a reality. We remain committed to creating social value and leaving a positive impact on the communities we work in. Chris and Sasha will continue their partnership with Anna and have more ideas on how they can help the school progress, so stay tuned!
