We are pleased to announce that we have started on site with our newest scheme at John F Kennedy Special School in Beckton, part of the Learning In Harmony Multi Academy Trust. The school provides specialised education and support for students with additional needs, particularly those with autism and communication challenges.
We will be delivering a two storey SIPS building that includes five new classrooms, staff accommodation as well as a café which will be open to the public, allowing the school to strengthen their connections with the local community. We will also complete a reconfiguration of the existing school and install new landscaping to link the two spaces together. The design, by Rivington Street Studio, focuses on creating a calming, sensory-friendly environment tailored to the unique needs of the students.
We look forward to working closely with our client, Newham Council, to provide a modern, purpose-built learning space that not only enhances educational opportunities for students but also promotes social value and fosters relationships within the local area.
